- people who are blind or partially sighted are matched with sighted volunteers who provide companionship and assistance with everyday tasks and errands
Virtual group programming- peer support groups, including but not limited to:
- Adjustment to Vision Loss
- Parenting With Sight Loss
- Seeing Things: Charles Bonnet Syndrome Group
- Black Voices United
- Diabetes & Vision Loss
- Zoom Social Hour
- culture, sports and recreation programs
- online yoga, dance fitness and wellness groups
- online interest-based groups, i.e. knitting, music, motorized/electronic machines, book clubs, amateur radio and more
- children's and youth programs
- both peer support and interest-based groups
- technology-focused groups for learning, sharing and problem-solving
I Want to Work for Myself: The Venture Zone- online information resources
- consultations and mentorship through partner organizations
Beyond Print- Braille Transcription Services/Braille Portal
- online Braille courses
- courses on reading contracted Braille, as well as reading and writing uncontracted Braille
- advocacy for accessible textbooks and course materials
iPhone/iPad Training Workshops- learn how to use the vision accessibility features on an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch (updated for iOS11)
- workshops are provided by Hadley Institute for the Blind and Visually Impaired
