Description
Access to a range of personalized, flexible supports for adults with disabilities to increase their independence and connection to the community. Possible supports include:

Services at home
  • Home Support Services - help with daily activities, grooming, bathing, meal time assistance, light housekeeping
  • Meals on Wheels - delivery of nutritious meals
Residential services - 24-hour supervision and assistance with daily living activities
  • Community residences - for adults 19-64 years with a physical, cognitive, or development disability or a mental health condition
  • Special care homes - for adults 19 years and older who need assistance with daily activities and do not require access to 24-hour nursing care
Employment and Support Services Programs (ESSP)
  • access to services to find employment, develop skills and make connections in the community
Other supports
  • Family Support Worker
  • respite
  • supports for community involvement and participation
  • personal living skills training
  • transportation supports that are disability specific
  • technical supports and assistive devices not covered under other programs
Eligibility
Adults 19-64 years with a long term disability who require supports ; must reside in New Brunswick
