Description
Addiction Services:
Access to social workers, nurses, or physicians. Services may include:
  • inpatient detoxification
  • opioid replacement program
  • individual counseling
  • family and loved-one support
  • linkages to community-based agencies, series, or self-help groups
  • community and educational services related to prevention/education, health promotion, and community mobilization
Mental Health Services:
Access to social workers, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, community support workers, or psychiatrists. Services may include:
  • assessments
  • individual and group counseling
  • therapeutic groups
  • psychiatric consultation
  • crisis services (including Mobile Crisis Unit, Emergency Mental Health and Inpatient Psychiatry)
  • early psychosis programs
  • outreach services to various communities
  • community-based agencies/services or self-help groups
  • mental health recovery centre for existing clients
One-at-a-Time Therapy
  • walk in access to counseling regarding addiction and mental health-related issues
  • one-hour therapy session focused on current issues and next steps
  • available virtually or in person
Flexible Assertive Community Treatment
  • treatment tailored to helping persons experiencing severe or persistent mental illness remain in the community and connected to community services
Mental Health and Addiction services tailored to First Nations Communities are also available
